Mohand-Saïd HacidData Science Scientific Advisor
Mohand-Saïd Hacid is currently a professor at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and carries out his research activities at the Laboratoire d’InfoRmatique en Image et Systèmes d’information (LIRIS - CNRS / Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 / INSA Lyon / Université Lumière Lyon 2 / École Centrale de Lyon).
Mohand-Saïd Hacid obtained a PhD in computer science from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in 1991. Between 1992 and 2000, he was a lecturer at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Lyon. After two research stays, of one year each, as a visiting researcher at RWTH Aachen (Germany) and Purdue University (USA), he joined the Computer Science Department of the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 as a professor in 2001. From 2015 to 2020, he directed the LIRIS, from 2006 to 2011 the Centre d'Initiation à l'Enseignement Supérieur de Lyon and from 2004 to 2007 the Master 2 Recherche Informatique de Lyon.
His research activities focus on data management and security of data and Web services.
